Samsung Software Engineering Lab (SEL) is a noida based lab . Samsung Noida Lab, one of the Research & Development centers of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., headquartered in Noida, is one of the companies in the mobile software sector.
Company is focused on embedded and mobile software testing for Samsung Electronics, in a variety of areas related to Mobile Phones.
Noida Lab started its operations with Regional Adaptation and Multimedia testing while focusing to bring great innovations and latest technologies in the era of wireless communications. Noida Lab is engaged in development and testing of mobile software for all range of handsets. Noida Lab also focuses on Quality assurance which includes automation Testing, protocol testing, white box testing and GCF certifications.


Recruitment Process

Written Test
1st test was a aptitude test. In this test you have to do 40 questions in 50 minutes.Question were in set of five. There were 4 sets of logical reasoning questions and 4 sets of Data Interpretation questions, thus 40 questions in total. Some of these questions were time consuming so you need to skip and skim the questions to manage time well.This was a elimination round.

2nd test was a aptitude test. In this test you have to do 30 questions in 20 minutes. majority of questions were based on object oriented programming (C++) and there were few question on Data Structures and C.This was also a elimination round.

In both the tests there were predecided Cutoff marks which you must clear to advance to next test. It does not matter whether you are topper of test or the last ranked person in test as long as you clear cutoff i.e all the candidates clearing cutoff advanced to next rounds.

Interview Process
1st round was a technical interview round. In this interview candidates were asked questions like What is a linked list and how will you reverse it; question related to various topics like ,Tree, Function Pointer, Polish Notation , Run time polymorphism were also asked. You need to strong in subjects like Data Structures to clear this round as this was a elimination round.

2nd round was a HR interview round. Common questions were asked, examples are, Why you want to join SEL, What are your strengths and weakness etc. This round was just for formality.

After these 2 rounds results were announced.
